History

How was Esthecin discovered?

Esthecin was developed to combat the hair loss suffered by Dr van Montfort’s daughter, who couldn’t find any kind of remedy for improving her hair growth. So Dr van Montfort decided to formulate one himself. Instead of looking for the causes of hair loss, he examined substances that could possibly promote natural hair growth.

What makes Esthecin so special?

While previous searches have focused on finding a single molecule, we’ve made the complexity of nature our starting point. We have also used superior ingredients that influence the various aspects of hair growth. And we’ve developed a transport medium that makes sure that the active ingredients actually reach the follicles. We explain how this works in the section titled Ingredients and Technology.

If follicles are inactive, they stay in the resting phase and do not grow any hairs. These follicles subsequently disappear after 2-3 years. Esthecin’s performance is based on the activation of follicles that are already in place. In other words, there must be follicles for Esthecin to have an effect on hair growth.

How will I know whether or not I still have follicles?

Unfortunately, there’s no simple way of determining this. The effects of Esthecin can therefore only be seen if you try it. Inactive follicles disappear after 2-3 years on average. But there are exceptions. You’d do well to use Esthecin for 4 months to find out.
